Greetings from NYC
Hello All,
Just joining today as I'm doing research on potentially picking up a new Submariner or GMT Master II. I'm not new to watches, having previously owned about half a dozen Panerai a number of years ago. Sold most of them and gave away two to my brother. Started thinking about Rolex recently as I also used to own a Datejust and have been shopping for one for the wife's upcoming birthday in June. Would love to own the new Daytona but heard it's next to impossible to find, so I've been looking at the Subs and GMT, leaning more towards Sub as it's a "classic". Unfortunately at the moment, most of the ADs in NYC do not have steel Subs or GMTs in stock and all suggested I wait till end of June for possible re-stock. I'm heading to Hong Kong in a few days as a quick stop over on a longer trip to Japan. Not sure if I'll find good deals abroad but I'll be checking on a few dealers in both countries. FYI, I'm NOT a chef, haha. It's just an online moniker I've used for a very long time on a myriad of forums for various hobbies. Ricky |
