My watch collection.

I have recently purchased my Explorer 214270. I love everything about it. The easy-link, the sweet bracelet and just how understated it is. It’s so different to my Omega Seamaster which I love equally.

So for a while I’ve been meaning to do a post and a few pics of my small watch collection. Every one of these gets worn often. I genuinely look forward to getting up at 4:30am and deciding on that day what one I’m going to wear for work. When I get in and chill for the night, I put another one on. Granted, recently it’s been the Ex1 for the evening as I’m firmly in the honeymoon stage. Seeing some of the amazing collections posted on here is great. While this small collection is not crazy in terms of financial value, some of the pieces are priceless to me.

The Seiko Quartz. This is my favourite piece, it means everything when it comes to watches. It was my grandad’s. I was gifted it by my Uncle and Mum back when I was 16 as my Grandad and I were very close. I have worn that watch at the birth of my son Leonardo and last week when we had him registered. I was wearing my grandad’s Seiko.

Regarding the others, I have a passion for travelling and seeing this wonderful world that we have the honour of living in. My watch choices I feel reflect that. The Seiko SKX was modded bu myself after I learnt how to do it from online videos. I love that it’s unique to myself. I want to change out the white ceramic bezel insert now but I promised myself after my Explorer purchase, I won’t buy anything watch related for the rest of the year.

What are your thoughts? Plans for the future. I would love to get a Hamilton field Khaki polar dial. As I would like that white dial that I don’t have to worry about, like I do with my grandad’s watch. I would like an all black Casioak possibly. My grail watch is a BLNR on jubilee. Keeping with my love of travelling, having a GMT one day makes sense.

Thanks for listening and hope you enjoy a few pictures.

I really like your modded Seiko. Do anything with the movement?

The 90s-2000s Seamaster bracelet is just an absolute gem.

The Casio “ World Time,” is my fun watch. For around $20.00, you can’t go wrong.

nice variety, very tastefully done. thumbs up from me. the GMT Master would be the perfect complement here, would 'complete' the collection.
