For sale is a near mint condition 44mm stainless steel IWC Vintage Collection Portuguese Hand-wound. The IW5445-01 was originally purchased in 2012 and is fresh from factory service with a two-year warranty on the work performed. The IWC comes with its original box and papers, plus records from the recent factory service. While at service the IWC received a complete movement disassembly and overhaul, polishing of the case, and a new sapphire crystal. The Portuguese features a polished steel case which is accented by a smooth steel bezel. The case is mounted on an OEM glossy back alligator strap which is secured by an OEM brushed steel deployment clasp. The strap contains some light creasing but has a good amount of use left. The black dial features applied polished stick and Arabic numeral hour markers, polished steel hands, and a seconds sub-dial at 6 o’clock. The IW5445-01 uses a hand wound movement which is on display through a sapphire caseback. The case has stood the test of time well and is crisp after receiving a factory refinish.
