I used the spring bars that came with my GMT. As far as I can tell, all good. If I’m being hyper critical the end links sit about a 1/2mm lower than the lugs but I honestly had to grab another watch and look side by side to see it.

Just my 2c"s....Reversing the brushed finish on the oyster band is easily done with special high heat tape which is put on the outer edge of the links, leaving the center uncovered. Center links buff polished with two different grades of compounds, dipped in ultrasonic cleaner then gentle soap and soft tooth brush..

No way!

I'd rather polish the center links on my Sub.

Wow! I love the Pepsi on PCL oyster.

I would never brush it. Not a fan of modding watches.

I like the PCLs on my DJ41 and Milgauss but not on my Blnr or any sports models I'm still thinking of what, if anything to do.

After a few years of heavy wear, it’ll look brushed on its own.

Not sure about this, my wife has been wearing a steel Daytona for 3 years and she previously demonstrated a remarkable ability to trash her watches but the centre links on this one still look pretty bling.

Sub or gmt, I don't think pcls look half bad.

What tips the scales for me is the glidelock.

I wouldn’t. And why spend that kind of money in the first place when the watch is not fully what you’d want. I simply wouldn’t buy a new GMT with the weird bracelets, square shape and ceramic bezel. All quite odd.

I initially thought brushing the OEM is blasphemy, but seeing the pics makes sense and I think i'd do it.

At first I wasn’t excited about buying a pcl watch, but have grown to like it. It gives the watch more character or personality. More differentiation or contrast in different lighting conditions. In medium indoor lighting you can’t tell the difference between brushed and polished links, in the sun the contrast between the two is dramatic. I like the change in appearance the pcl allows the watch to have at different times.

Own a 36 dj by the way. I do understand the tool sports watch look compared to a DJ too, so I can see why some like the all brushed look. I’m just saying my appreciation of the pcl has really surprised me.
