My wife has small wrists and has had the shorter strap fitted to her Silver Snoopy. Great for her, no good for me!

I suspect that this may also happen if we (she!) gets a new one.

Thanks.
Indeed has improved, and matches better than flat link, in my opinion.

Thanks - are they boutique exclusive though? Any idea if ADs will eventually get them?

And only a few AD’s will get them not all AD’s. That’s the rumor so far.

Is this going to be the Daytona model for Omega? Long lists. High resale value. Etc etc ?

It is a great looking watch and I guess will be made for max of 5 years.

Today, I spoke with my Omega Boutique. The gentleman at the store said Authorized Dealers will not be allocated any Snoopy Watches. I hope this is not true. I’m located in the United States.

My AD said they will likely be getting some this year but did not specify the exact number…. But at this stage it’s a bit he said she said kind of situation. I’m quite at the top of the list for my AD for the snoopy so I’m hoping it’s that case if not I’m fine with it too. There are other watches to buy.

I am not sure why they should go to ADs. Why should Omega give other groups a margin on a watch they can sell themselves all day long? Unless there is some contractual reason.

Back in 2017, it seems like the 116500LN Panda started the resale hype. Just a few years ago, I paid less than retail for my Hulk Submariner. I’m very lucky, but it would be nice to be able to get another watch. I favor the more popular models though. These days, I see a lot more “is this watch a good investment” type of questions than anything else.

In 3 years, I could see the Snoopy selling steady at double retail. Omega is a nice brand, but $25-35K for an Omega is not that realistic. However, I thought the Daytona at $23K was high too, so what do I know.

I would not say it’s a contractual agreement. After all ADs rely more on Omega than the other way round. I would say it’s more of courtesy and friendly gesture towards the ADs by giving them a few sought after watches to spread the brand slightly further instead of just selling through the boutique? And Omega have never stated that the snoopy is OB exclusive if I remember correctly?

Because they are doing the heavy lifting selling their watches to the end users, there are only 60 boutiques or so compared to the thousand of authorized retailers across the world. You block them completely from the opportunity of selling hard to find models to their best clients and it will hurt their business in the long run. The big whales will go to the boutiques instead, and ADs will start reconsidering why they should keep the brand at their store. There is a reason why AP ADs are dropping like flies, they have no interest to keep selling their watches because they simply don't have access to any their best stuff, which is all boutique exclusive.

ADs will get some, just in very limited number.
Check out the WOS site
https://www.watchesofswitzerland.com...001/p/17331760

They know they will get some allocation. My associate confirmed it months ago.
The only issue is that they are going to clients with long history. So getting them from ADs might be more challenging than staying on the list and get the snoopy from the OB.

I think reality is slowly starting to settle in. I think this was the Snoopy that started much higher. It's down to $49.5K.

That price was and currently is completely bogus!

It's on this forum listed around 30K. That is the market value at the moment.

My marine tank lights haha. You can see the silver dial from an angle in sunlight very clearly not white like the net pics and the panda just works I actually prefer it over my 45th. The caseback is great not gimmicky at all its small and unique. They offered me the bracelet too which I tried on loved how thin it was but for me this watch belongs on that blue strap. I took the opportunity to grab the blue rubber strap for my diver which I much prefer to the bracelet.
