Size comparison 15450 vs 15500 vs 40mm Rolex

As a way of giving back to this community I’ll be doing a comparison of my Rolex 116621, Ap 15450 and a boutique 15500 on my 6.5” wrist.

Hopefully this will help you gauge on which model will be suitable for you, especially for those who have smaller wrist.

Clearly, 15450 fits best.

I believe it’s all about personal preference. Personally I feel 15450 fits me well and the 15500 is a little too big for my wrist. I do have friends who have smaller wrist and prefer bigger watch. No right or wrong.

This is just a guide for people who are stuck like me when buying their first royal oak, because not everyday we will be able to try it in store due to the extremely high demand.

Thanks for the photos, it really helps.

The 15450 looks good on you. I had a 15400 and it wore pretty big on my 7.0 inch wrist.

Sorry for the poor quality photos. Here is a better one. 37mm royal oak on 6.5” wrist.

I have around 6 inch wirst and also sporting a 15450.

Would the Offshore Diver 42mm be too big?

If a 15450 fits better on you than the 15500 then chances are the larger 42mm diver would be too big unfortunately.

Either of your current watches seem fine to me, the one at the dealer probably too big to be ideal. Usually these threads are about people trying to convince themselves that a Skydweller or JC DeepSea are not too big on a wrist your size.

Thanks for putting this together - 38mm chrono is perfect for me, and i have close to 7.5 inch wrists. As you said, its all about personal preference. No right or wrong.
