Saw the new pieces on YouTube this morning and they're pretty nice. Now I'm wondering if there will be another new speedmaster too?

If there is a bronze Gold Speedy in the pipeline for future release, you can take all my money.

Blacked out seamaster looks pretty cool, but I imagine challenging to read. Would have preferred a bit of contrast in red/orange/yellow like AP has done on their black ROO versions.

The Speedmaster straps seem disappointing. I love space and NASA, but these seem a bit juvenile and at the price they’re being sold for, not for me.

I love the new 300. Hodinkee has confirmed that the case is slightly thinner, and, based on Omega's IG photo, it looks like the lug-to-lug distance is also now shorter. Omega made a mistake in their rendering as I believe the top lugs are of the newest model and the bottom lugs are of the outgoing model. https://www.instagram.com/p/CMwj-Fvn..._web_copy_link

I'd be curious about this too!

Is it though? It's only 9 karat. If the 18k-ish aqua terra on rubber is 18,000, 11,200 for a 9k seems like a stretch.

Not going to lie, none of these really sing to me. I, too, like the blacked out SMP, but I'd like a blacked out DLC bracelet to go with it.

Also, it seems Omega is still trying to start the game playing. Anyone else notice the waitlist for these watches on their website? I liked Omega before because they were accessible/no games. I don't need another brand to play games with. If I'm going to have to kiss somebody's a$$ to get a watch, I don't want the watch to lose 20-40% of its value off the bat. Omega's are great watches, but they're not on Rolex's level yet.

I see what you're saying as far as the actual gold content of the watch but I love the color of it. They say it sits between moonshine and sedna gold in color. The hands and bezel match it nicely. Just about perfect size at 41 mm with a 21 mm wide strap. Sandwich dial is really cool. A lot to like on this watch IMO.

I agree, I like its looks as well, but I don't $11,200 like it.

Assuming I can get 20% off, I don't $8960 like it either.

Is the bezel lumed?

Haven't heard, but unlike the other Seamaster 300s it is a ceramic bezel, not aluminum

A lot of the watches are readily available at an Omega Boutique or can be ordered by them with a minimal wait time. It's only waitlisted on the website. The 2 main exceptions being the 321 and Snoopy Speedmasters.

It seems that the new SMP "black black" is on waitlist as well.

I don't think the bezel is lumed like the Bond NTTD.

Omega isn't Rolex so they don't have the watches in the shop within a few days of release. Give it 6 months and you'll be able to get them without much of a wait barring any production delays which Omega is well known for on new releases.

The bronze gold is sweet. Has Omega released any pictures yet from their testing on how the patina develops/looks over time?

I think this is the winner of the group...I wonder how hard/soft material is versus a gold watch?

Agree.
I dont think they want to create another halo watch with the black black.

Anyway I find it interesting. Although maybe there are some issues with legibility. I would like to see some real pics of the watch and maybe a video.

50% bronze
37% gold
xx% silver + palladium & other metal

So actually a bronze gold mix which will retain the shine and colour without getting aged

Don't know what to say about the price (usually I don't comment on MRSP prices because watches are all overpriced ) but definitely it is not gold
