Did anyone who got the 3861 speedy on strap regret ........

........not getting it on bracelet?

I wanted to love the bracelet when I saw it yesterday but felt a bit 'meh'.
However, the nylon strap on the hesalite model was pretty amazing.

I just don't want to regret not getting the bracelet, since I'll still have the option of swapping it out for the strap later.

You can buy the bracelet individually after if you want to. Cost wise, I don’t think it really matters too much which way you do it.

In the U.K. the difference is about 270 quid. The bracelet individually costs around 550 quid and the strap/deployant will be about 300 or so.

Try an negotiate a little discount and buy the bracelet , or get your AD to throw a bracelet in maybe - then you’ve got the best of both worlds.

Or put it on the Apollo 50th since you don’t care for this bracelet.

Or buy the 1861 hesalite.

I always buy on the bracelet because it is usually more economical and when I go to sell or trade the value is typically more if you have it on a bracelet. I have the 1861 on a bracelet but have worn it almost exclusively on a Forstner Bracelet. I think it look better than the OEM bracelet and it fits better. I also have a few OEM NATO's that work well. I would get it on the bracelet and have them add the Strap if you can work it out. If not, then buy it configured on the strap and add an aftermarket bracelet. A lot depends on what you want.

I would add the Apollo 50th bracelet which to me anyway is superior to the new Speedy bracelet.
