Rolex got a lot of criticism for "boring" releases this year, but I honestly think they're pretty great! Most are not my style, or more likely, out of my price range! But I honestly believe they are great additions/changes to the collection.

I love the new Explorers! I'd love to try the 36mm size. Black dial Explorer II is next on the list for me, I think! Perfect update; small, subtle changes - only what was necessary, nothing flashy.

Fantastic pics! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the pictures, how did the Skydewler feel in hand? Was it top heavy at all or did the jubilee bracelet feel Good and sturdy?

It’s looking like gloss. You can see the reflection of the seconds hand in the dial.
I enjoy all the updates.

Op - the black dial explorer 2 looks like they made it for your wrist. A fantastic fit!

For me I am very, very tempted by the 36mm Explorer 1 - Return of the King!!!!!!!

Interesting - new Explorer II appears to have a thicker bezel / smaller diameter dial.

I hated the two tone Explorer 1 announcement. In your pictures, it looks sharp and distinctive. I was surprised. Thanks for sharing. I guess I shouldn’t be so quick to judge.

While diamond bezels are not for me, but from the couple that I have bought for my wife in the past and the ones I have seen in person , there is nothing like the sparkling and fire of the diamonds that Rolex uses in its bezels. Beyond beautiful. I would never go aftermarket in these bezels because I have seen them in person and they don’t come anywhere near the factory bezel. Just beautiful.

Amazing clean crisp photos further illustrating why we are so drawn to the Rolex brand! They’re stunning pieces. All of them!

The Explorer II looks so clean and crisp, not sure of lugs have been slimmed down but they look perfect.

Platinum DD is a show stopper!! Black Sky on Jub is stunning! Can I have them all?

I agree on the Palms dial, just brutal. Was is that difficult to have a clean olive dial?

Great see them on the wrist. Gives a slightly different perspective to some of them.

Some of my wrist shots of the new 2021 models

Thanks all for all the kind words. I am glad that these pics and my comments on these new models were helpful to you.

For those who asked, My wrist size is about 7 1/4 or so now ( lost some weight and some of the fat is gone now and I haven’t measured yet. )

I didn’t put any orders in ( none were being taken ) and for this year I have basically depleted all my watch funds/budget anyway. I have been waiting for a ceramic Daytona (who isn’t) and while my AD apparently likes me enough to invite me to this event, they have not yet secured one for me. They have very specifically told me how hard it is to get a Daytona and made no promises even when We were buying the DD40 ( unrelated purchase anyway).

But frankly having seen the skydweller black on jubilee, if I was given a chance today to buy one or the other, I would more than likely pick the Skydweller as I really really liked it. Some asked and I must say I didn’t notice any top heaviness or any weird feeling while trying it on, but honestly I wasn’t paying that much attention anyway. It sat comfortably on my wrist and was right at home for me.

Daytona meteorite dials, well, they were a bit underwhelming as the lines of the dial were not that visible and obvious, but really the whole package overall was fantastic looking. Price wise they are out of my league for a Daytona so I won’t be making any pro or con statements about them.

For those who are still not sold on the palm motif dials, these may just not be for you and that is ok. But from what I saw, they were very nicely done and added some fun to the package. I won’t be buying one as my one and only watch, but as part of a collection of five or more watches, they definitely fit in well.

Enjoy the pics and thanks again for all your kind words. Glad to see my acting like the idiot who takes many picture of each watch paid off and people here found it useful.

All beautiful pieces. The sky dweller is a stunner. Shows why fluted really pairs better with jubilee.
