Question, do you really consider the Panda Daytona flashy when you have a two tone Bluesy? Bluesy makes the SS Daytona look mundane in comparison in my opinion.

Congrats, the white Daytona is really beautiful!

You were extremely lucky, if you wouldn't have texted the AD for your visit, they wouldn't have reached out to you and let you know they got it.

Coincidentally you are the 2nd person I know that has gotten either a SS Daytona or SS Pepsi 6-7 months after buying a Sub TT Blusey. I am still waiting for a call from my AD for a Daytona hopefully soon.

I was wondering how you pulled that off, but then I looked at your collection and I got a better idea. Heavy hitters all around. Congratulations!

This is fantastic! I love seeing a hard to get watch go to a collector who just wants to enjoy it.

I am currently waiting for my AD to deliver as well as I had asked him if he can help me get one as a birth year watch for our one and only kid we are expecting in July .

Fingers crossed I have some of your luck : )
Congratulations again!

I love stories like that, but they beg so many questions. What happens when you call, the salesperson tells you "no," then you leave. Do they then go talk to their manager and make a pitch for you? How do they decide to "find" one for you so quickly?

I would honestly say they are equally beautiful and flashy. The TT Sub due to the gold/blue combo, the Daytona due to the black/white contrast and overall abundance of polished surface areas. Nothing wrong with flashy though

I would recommend to go through the store managers directly. They typically understand us collectors better and know more about the brand and heritage. They also understand the customer responsibility they have for the brand they work for. I've made worse experiences with sales associates who often just care about moving the pieces quickly without really knowing much about them.
