126710 BLRO on oyster or jubilee for small wrists?
I have access to one of the above. Classic try before you buy, but that is not possible for this model.
I have very small (5.5") wrists. I currently own a 14060M that works well. Obviously the 126710 is bigger, however. My preference would be for jubiliee because I don't own a rolex with one but my concern is that it makes the case look bigger and that the oyster will have a better "look" on a small wrist. Would appreciate any views and if possible, pics on a small wrist. Thx! |

The jubilee definitely makes the case look bigger. I have slim wrists as well and I wouldn't choose the jubilee for that reason.

I would say the jubilee is much better for smaller wrists, including my own. The oyster bracelet has the center link that increases the effective lug to lug span of the watch to essentially 50mm. While the jubilee allows the bracelet to pivot downward from the lugs. Only a couple millimeter difference probably...but noticeable to me at least.

The lug to lug is about 48 mm if that helps

My view is that at 5.5in theyll both look equally “large” and no one would care. No one really cares anyway.

Oyster also makes the watch look a bit more "chunkier" on the wrist imo. |

Your overthinking it. Just get the bracelet that suits your taste. In the real world No one else but you cared what it looks like on your wrist.

Thanks. Though to be clear, I'm not worried about others. I just don't want it to look too big to me. It's the reason I don't have a Daytona even though I love the look.

Jubilee the oyster has a mid end link that extends past the case.

Ah thanks for clarifying. Could be mistaken, but I seem to have read on TRF that it’ll be possible to order the other bracelet as well? That way you can try out each one and see for yourself.

Honestly 40mm might be pushing it. You might have the links maxed out on sizing. I think it's possible, but definitely try it on before buying it. Women pull off Daytona's so i think you could do it. But make sure it's comfortable before buying it

I vote 36 mm day date for you sir. I'm jealous as they are a screaming deal.

If it helps, here are some pics of my LN and BLRO on my skinny 6.75 wrists.
The jubilee does hug the wrist better than the oyster because of the drooping endlink, but not a huge difference in it. Looking at my pictures, I do kind of see your point about how the jubilee may make the case look "bigger". |

Either one does not make any different, so take the one that become available first.

It won’t matter much, lug to lug and case thickness is what’s important. Pick the bracelet you like the most and go with it.

Take whichever comes first, you can always source the other bracelet if you want. However, at 5.5inch, both will look large on you, so it probably won't make a difference.

To big.
That's why they have an assortment of sizes. I think it would look silly on a 5.5 wrist. Get a 36mm datejust.

You’ll find that the solid end link of the oyster creates more of an overhang whereas the jubilee will form to your wrist better. People are noting lug to lug, but the correct dimension here is more like end link to end link for the oyster.
