Overall I voted Meh, it is well crafted and detailed but the design is too in your face for me.

I have come to love the BP, mostly because of obsession it seems to trigger in people who take these things too seriously.

I'm not going to deny the quality, it's AP after all so it's executed flawlessly.... I'm not a watch designer and all but I sure wouldn't have put a figure of the black panther on the dial, I know that much for sure! That just makes it gimmicky IMO.
And Fed's vids give me a right laugh, love how brutally honest he is. |

Honest video, have to agree. I'd also say he is right in his disappointment with the missed opportunity for the explorer ii anniversary, but I have a feeling something is coming later this year for that.

I mean the BP is only for a few people! So why not? I just wonder why dedicating a watch to a comic hero? I´d preferred a nobel prize winner or the like ...

Saw the watch in person this weekend. Just have to say, same as 1159, picture cannot capture the essence of the watch.

Tried the watch on last week with a couple of mates, we all agreed it was a very fun piece completely unexpected and refreshing. Neither of us are fans of Marvel but nevertheless we appreciated the quality, the size and the color combination...indeed the finishing is something else, the details are on another level. The piece is not my style but I am happy that AP was in the position to just go for it and do something wild and I totally respect them for that!

Watch can looks ugly but collectible
Watch can look cool but just a garbage Looks alone do not justify the collectability. You need to consider other things, like how many being produced; how detail are the finishing, who are the buyers. Then you can judge will the watch be a long term success |

Looking forward to the Endgame Thor edition next year. Lifelike 3D rendering of fat Thor, drinking beer and playing Fortnite.

Actually I like the design but I don't want to pay for the price and no chance to get it anyway.
