I couldn't resist...sorry
You won't regret it, they go for great prices now, and the bracelet and clasp is just rock-solid and so damn comfortable. Have you seen the new one at all? I'm not too fussed on the red font, but the applied markers are great!

Pete I had a Bond seamaster it is a rock solid extremely well made watch. Very comfortable with one of the best bracelets I've seen.
The watch hugs the wrist. Accuracy on mine was about +1 or 2 sec. a day. If there was any fault (and this is a bit picky) the clasp seemed to be a scratch magnet. I haven't seen the new one yet with the co-axial movement, but that might sway me back into the fold. |

Pete, the www.watchseller.com is selling one right now for $1090, previously enjoyed with box and papers.

and what is sitting on the cutting room floor:
Eva Green: "Ah, so Her Majesty is having you cut corners to save money too." Bond: "Yes, I am afraid so. Even with downsizing from Rolex to Omeega they still cut my condom issuance to three a day. Pity." |

You're not the only one. About 6 months ago I got to see a new Co Ax on in person and although I did like the read lettering and markers, I still like the old version more (the one make famous by Pierce )
Since I already have a SD, I have been toying around with picking up a used SM Bond as well. But I will wait till one of my brokers comes across one. And the scary thing is that I dont mind the one with the 007 Second hand.....

I know, I'm pondering a Black SMP now. LOL. Already have a black PO. These pics were scoured from the web. I like the blue SMP, but wish it came with the band from the black one. Otherwise the band is just way too busy.

i have the smp bond too... very comfortable bracelet ... but it hasn't gotten any wrist time in the last year ... regretting that i got it in midsize instead of the full size... was seriously considering getting another one in the full size but ended up getting a PO instead ( in all black, of course)... also trying to work out a deal with a friend for his SMP black
