Omega Backorder Frustration
Ughhhh... I ordered a Speedy Pro 3870.50.31 in late October. My dealer tells me today he hopes to have it by Christmas, but that it's on backorder from the factory. I have a brand new D series SS Sub/Date in the box in the drawer in my closet, and I'm wearing my N series SS GMTII red/black now. Everytime I walk past my dresser I see the Breitling Aerospace winking at me... I'm diseased for sure.
Show some Speedy Pro love Omega owners!!

I'm no photog, this will have to do. Please excuse the lousy camera skill. And the Seiko 200m Diver's Automatic gets no use in the winter, so it's out of time.

Great collection....terrible camera!! On second thoughts, you just need to probably use the right setting on your camera. Try "Macro" mode....the results will be much better!!
Good luck - JJ

That's a beautifull collection and a Speedy pro will make a great addition!
Like you, I think the Speedmaster Professional is a fantastic watch. Tough as nails and with a history like no other. Hope it comes in soon! Here's mine, a little older, this one is circa 1977-80. It is among the most accurate watches I own. |

Hey Redsrover,
After seeing your Seiko on a rubber strap, I decided to take my jubilee bracelet off and try the rubber strap again. It felt goooood. Quote:
