Help me with facts about my Rolex
I am trying to gather details about a watch that I inherited from my Grandma. I know that it was given to her in February of 1981. It is marked 14K on the back and it also has the numbers 0585 on the back cover.
It is a manual wind button and it still works great!! I guess I would like to know that name of this particular Rolex and what the approximate value would be? Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Oh, and I have the original box also. I am assuming that would add value if I decided to sell. |

The smaller ladies' dress models from the 1950s all the way up to the 1980s are not collectible, and don't really have any special value beyond their value as an attractive gold watch. Figure on about $500 to sell a 14K example, and, no, the box will not add any value in this case.
