Royal Oak chronograph dimensions

Good afternoon,

I’m getting ready to buy an AP chronograph and I was hoping for some dimension assistance and personal reviews from current ROC owners.

For the ROC 26331, is the 41mm measurement the case or the bezel?

Also, what is the mm measurement of the dial itself?

If you bought SS, do you wish you bought precious metal on strap? If you bought precious metal on strap, do you wish you bought SS?

Lastly, if you bought ROC, do you wish you bought ROO? If you bought ROO, do you wish you bought ROC?

I bought stainless ROC and am pleased with it. I don't have dimensions but it wears large. Good luck.

Ok those are a lot of questions.

It wears more like a 43mm, on a bracelet, the distance from the two most rigid parts is closer to 54mm.

Buy what sings to you, others wishlists are pointless.

I am going for the ROC on bracelet with the blue dial soon.

ROC is an awesome watch - but yes it wears large, but surprisingly it wears very thin & comfortable.


If this is helps, this is side by side with a Sky. The Sky sits higher, but the width is easily feels 2 mm smaller on the wrist due to the shape of the AP lugs and chrono pushers.


If you can get a Precious metal, you wont look back .... best of luck.

I own the blue steel roc and very pleased with it. It wears large but I am a big guy and can pull it off. On my 7.5 inch wrist it is perfect. It wears almost the same as the roo 42mm but a tad smaller than the 44mm. The bracelet gives it a considerable heft compared to the roo. Both great.

I just got ROC a week ago and loving it. I also have ROO, it's a great watch too. One is dressier, the other one is sportier, but you can't go wrong with one or the other. As for the size, my wrist is not big (6.75") but I am 6'1" and wear them both comfortably. Good luck!

You can't go wrong with either ROC or ROO, SS or precious metal.

I've bought my first AP ROC more than 1 year ago. SS with blue dial. I love it and easy to wear. No regrets buying it.

I guess it also depends on your current watch collection. For me personally I am looking to get RO or ROO in rose gold because I already have a SS ROC.

You should really go to an AP boutique or gray market dealer to try different pieces. Often I really loved a specific piece when I saw it on pics but when I fitted it on it was "mwah". And vice versa. I always thought the 44mm rose gold was too bulky on pics, but once I fitted it myself I really like it.

i think the 41mm means the bezel's diameter, its the usual way of making the measurement. the other measurement is the lug to lug, which should be much larger. i dont own a ROC but i am on a wait list for the 26331ST.
