Paneristi's 20th Anniversary Radiomir Ltd. Ed.

Paneristi is thrilled to introduce the long anticipated PAM2020! As the model number indicates, this special watch is designed and built to celebrate the 20th anniversary of our beloved Paneristi.com community! For the first time in history, our friends at Panerai have featured a logo on the dial from outside the company. Debossed into the sunburst dial, the Paneristi.com logo is subtle, while still a clear symbol of our unbreakable connection to each other.

Contact your local boutique or Panerai's website if you're interested in reserving one of the Limited Edition PAM2020's today.

P6000 movement
Limited Edition of 1020 piece
Price is: USD $6500

Thank you for posting Steven, great looking watch

I’m really not sure about putting a .com on the dial though

If one is a long-time Paneristi and member of that site, I think you have to be really happy with this one. Otherwise, the logo and text on the dial has to be a bit of a turn-off.

In that sense, it’s a really great tribute watch.

I've been out of the Panerai game for awhile, but do have thoughts about this -

1.) Solid price point, and enough of them to go around (I would think)
2.) They could've done away with the "com" portion. Just leave it with Paneristi, the dates and the open crown
3.) Interesting that they chose a Radiomir while using the Luminor logo

Would I buy it? No. Is it a good looking watch? Yes - I'm loving the brown dial and the strap. I think I'm just personally too far removed at this point from the brand, but it is a tastefully done watch overall.

OMG

You would have to pay me to wear this

The dial is awful

Fair enough add the text on the case back but on the dial I really don’t get it

Has to be one of the worse Special Editions to date

As for the writing on the dial, I bet in real life it’s not very in-your-face.

It didn’t slow this one down. ;-)

Seems like a beautiful piece. Hard to tell without seeing it in person how appealing it will be. Love the sunburst sandwich dial, gold hands and 45mm Radiomir. Have a message from the boutique on my phone. Guessing it is related to this.

In nearly 2 days, there hasn’t even been 20 posts on P.com’s official announcement release thread.

I knew that activity on that forum has slowed, but WOW. I mean, yes, P.com was never like TRF’s main Rolex board, but I remember several years ago when that place was very active.

What happened?

If things don’t change for them soon, this has to be the (last) last Paneristi tribute watch, doesn’t it?

While the .com is still active, most members have migrated to their Facebook group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/paneristi

79 comments and 260 interactions with the announcement.... ah, so that’s where everyone has gone!

Good to see. Even if I’m not part of the hard-core “Paneristi” crew, I’m glad to see it’s vibrant and doing well. Makes the 2020 even better for them.

Do they make a similar watch without the cobranding?

I like it otherwise

No, not really. The 619 above have a different case with solid lugs and sub seconds on the dial. The old 232 is similar, but slightly larger.

Don’t think them numbers make it that vibrant, perhaps moving to Facebook killed the community I suspect

Unlikely as almost everyone has Facebook.

My guess is that once the secondary values tanked many lost interest. Same would happen with Rolex and Patek if they ever fell out of the limelight. I won’t hold my breath though.

This. That's what tends to happen when you flood the market with numerous models that all look the same (here's looking at you as well, Omega).

I also feel like Paneristi.com was a bit more toxic than most watch forums. When I was a PAM owner and used to frequent a lot, I was turned off by the frat-like inclusion and exclusion on there...TRF is child's play compared to what was going on over there.

I still find some models attractive within the catalog, I just don't know if I'm going back to the brand soon.

Nice watch, but would've preferred it without the dial text.

I used to spend a lot of time on the old Paneristi site. Shame it's gone to FB, as I don't use it and have no plans to.
