Incoming - 5167

I picked up my 5167 yesterday! It’s such a stunner. I can’t wait to have this baby on during the summer. It will make a great duo with my 5712. It’s the perfect casual watch. I tried to order the green strap with it but after my AD requested one from Patek they were told you can’t do that anymore. Oh well, Black strap it is.

Looks like production will remain low as they said this is the only 5167 they will get this year.

Here are some crummy pics from inside my AD.

Congrats! How snug did you cut it. Can it move up and down your wrist? I can insert 3 fingers into my strap thinking about getting it cut down 1 more. Lol

Thank you! It complements the 5712 well because of the strap/bracelet difference. Both are super comfortable and look great with everything.

I kept it just loose enough to have some wiggle room but pretty snug.

You underscore the problem with the current watch market. It is March and this is the only 5167 they will get this year. Is that nuts or what. Lets market our product by not producing units. I believe only the Swiss watch industry can that use that method to work exceedingly well.

Congrats Josh! It was my first Patek and it was spectacular! Amazing combo with the 5712! Enjoy and wear in good health!

P.S. one 5167 for all of 2019 is *bleep*ing insane. Grey market rejoice!

You’re right. It’s gotten a bit absurd. The only true winners are the gray dealers. Maybe someday the tides will change. I guess in the meantime it’s nice to know values remain steady though.

Congrats! Absolutely lovely. Enjoy it in good health!

As for the green strap, I thought they're still orderable after the fact?

Congrats on a beautiful and iconic watch!

The 5167 isn't on top of my list mainly because it's hard to source (and the premium gets dumb on it) and the aesthetics for me...Needs a bit more bang factor to it like the 5168G jumbo.

Gray market isnt enjoying this moment either by Swiss watch industry cutting production. Means prices go higher and they have to hold onto their stock.
