Large watches look very much like overcompensation on fellas please don’t lead those girly things down the same path.

My wife started “sharing” my Omega Seamaster several years ago. When I took my Daytona in for service, I asked for my watch back for the 8 weeks my wrist was set to be naked. She calmly pointed out that MY watch was being serviced and HER watch was being worn already. Moral of the story is that you don’t really “share” a watch with the wife. Happy ending for me was that she suggested I get a new watch while waiting and that’s how I came by my Tudor GMT. Win-win

I bought my wife a 32-ish mm Seamaster for Mother's Day, but she didn't like it. She wears an Apple Watch, unfortunately...

She has no interest in mechanical timepieces.

When I start to get serious with a girl, the first thing she always goes for is one of my watches. To me it’s more sentimental than a ring and means more to me. But unless they’re also interested in watches for something other than the name, I usually guide them toward one of the Tag Heuer watches.

That being said, right now she’s wearing a 34mm 14010 and it’s perfect. Perfect size, perfect feel, perfet look.

If you ask me, it is a marketing gimmick orchestrated by fashion and watch industries to unload their inventory. Successful though, but my wife still wears mostly 31mm watches. When I sometimes glanced at these clocks on women wrists, I found the set time often being inaccurate and hence the watch became a fashion accessory rather than a time instrument.

I don't think a big watch looks good on a tiny wrist, whatever the gender.

If it dangles like a bangle it's even worse. I hate seeing a diver being worn like this, as you sometimes see when the wearer hasn't got a clue and doesn't know the.bracelet can be sized or just doesn't bother.

Girrls wearing.big.men watches is like guys wearing small women watches. I cringe.

That settles it, letting my wife try on my sea-dweller would be a huge mistake.
I would miss it so much

She looks Norwegian. Thanks for sharing. You will have to let me know how it is living there when you relocate after being there a while. My wife and I LOVED it there.

She has since upgraded and I got my 14060M back.

I bought my woman a birthyear 36mm Datejust 2 years ago... It looks absolutely stunning on her. Timeless, sophisticated, beautiful. She cherishes it. But I would suggest you include her in the selection process. It's a "too expensive" gift only of she doesn't love it.

Yes she does !

Sure I'll tell how it is however, I already have a huge idea since we've been together for more than 8 years. During this time, I've been to Norway more than 16 times and eventually spending a month or so.

Right now, it's been quite a mess here due to this relocation, separating things etc.

Sorry for getting a bit off topic but here are some pictures from different times in different cities in Norway. I think it is worth sharing.

It's an awesome place (regarding Nordic Countries, I've been to Denmark, Sweden and Iceland as well and Iceland is something out of this Planet... A Must ! You should try since you really liked Norway)

This was during the National Day (17th of May). Me and one of my sisters in law

People celebrating the National Day

This one we were at the "beach" hehe. A place called Bore, inside Klepp.

All the following pics are from last May, in Tromsø. I'm sure you've heard about it... It's VERY North, basically 70N and there was no sunset.

Wearing my LVc

National Day again but this time in Tromsø and 2018 !

My GF is also petite and my watches are too big from her, though she has worn them. My next watch is likely going to be a gift from her as a wedding present with a ring, as she knows how much I love watches, and I'm thinking a Polar Explorer II 16570 might work well as we could both wear it.

The worst instance I've seen was an Asian couple wearing the exact same DJII as a "his and hers" watch. The watch looked ridiculous on the guy, let alone the girl who looked like she weighed less than the watch.

I’ve been collecting the last few years and I can honestly say all the watches I have bought have been either Daytona’s, subs, gmt’s, and 36mm dd. I just love the sportier watches.. and I’m sure some guys look at me funny.. but I love my Rolex’s!
