Incoming-Once in a Blue Moon

So after a gap of a couple of years, I finally pulled the trigger on a long contemplated purchase. I have always liked the Moon Phase complication and have thought about several choices in the past including the JLC, Lange 1, Breguet, etc.

However the ALS Saxonia has a clean, classy look and I think it is very versatile.

Sorry about the cell phone photos. Really doesn't do the movement justice. I will try to get one with better lighting.

Also I received the watch and wouldn't you know it; it was a new moon. Will post pics next week to show the moon disc!

Congratulations! That's among my favorite moonphases and among my favorite Langes. It's a superb watch and, dare I say, an excellent value.
