Heading to Playa del Carmen on Saturday. Airport to resort to airport then back home. No side trips or shopping/eating in town is planned. Pool or beach will be the tough daily decision. Cervesa or tequila another tough call?? Hope I survive.

Tired of the ice storms, power outages and heavy flooding in my area.
So I’m taking a “Cruz” right this minute. |

November 2020 to Aruba was our last International trip and it went very well. Next one won't be until November 2021 to Playa del Carmen.
Would love to go somewhere a bit more exotic / further before then, but I don't see it happening just yet. Will be visiting Austin next month, Geneva on the Lake (OH) in July and our normal bopping all over Florida for now.

Well so far most appear regionally "International" except for Egypt and South America.. When we go we go big and far and exotic..
DOHA, UAE and "The Emerald Isle" for a rockem sockem time in the heat and humidity. Plenty of Jumbo Tiger Prawns, Cycling along the Indian Ocean Coast Line is on tap here.. Only 3 months this time out but end of October 2021 it will be another 6-8 months in "The Indian Ocean"...! |

Probably not this year unless things remarkably clear up in the latter part.
We will most likely head to Italy as our first trip.

Returned to USA from China last month. Will go back to Shanghai in June. I just hope that the Chinese 4 week quarantine policy is changed by then. Spent 2 weeks in quarantine last year and it was horrible.

I told my girlfriend we should put off traveling until 2022 "due to COVID"
...and then I bought a Submariner and a Mac Pro. |

I'll be flying back to the US from Indonesia in a month, then back again in late April/early May. Another cycle in June & then Turks & Caicos in October.
I've been flying regularly since last July & can't wait for things to normalize & see more activity in airports; it's sad seeing the lack of activity, at least in the International terminals. |

Agreed, and then we have to hope that countries will let us in. At the moment there is no where we want to go where Americans are allowed into their country

If things open up by September, we might try to replan our trip to Prague, Budapest, and Croatia......
Several "extra circular" tours we had booked, wouldn't refund our money but did put our deposits on hold for one year..... Unlikely, but things are opening up rather quickly in many places. |

Going back to Maldives later this year, been there twice past six months. Hopefully we'll hit Chile in September-October too.
The SO and I have this incredible urge to go to Florida Keys and fish, dive, get stupid drunk and forget our names for a week or three so that's next. We're calling it "old-timers spring break". |

Pondering posting pictures to the thread as they keep saying they are to large and need to be resized smaller. I am trying to use pictures that I have posted before on here back in early December and back then they uploaded just fine.
So my question is when your pledge membership expires does that have anything to do with the size of snaps you are trying to upload..? I did pay my pledge membership about a week ago and just curious... |
