1910 w&d fob/wrist watch.
I have just purchased this watch through an auction site, I have seen the normal round ladies wrist watches by W&D but nothing like this one, has anyone ever seen one of these miniature enameled fob/wrist watches before ?. Also does anyone know what its value would be. Thanks. Dennis.

All of the company converted pocket watches that I have seen do not have the neck for the stem and crown.
So I would say this was originally sold as a pocket watch. And if I were to guess, I would say that it was more likely that the watch was converted in the last 10 years. Probably by someone who did not know that this was an early Rolex, and thought they could get more as a wristwatch. |

Thanks for your response MILGAUSS88, don't know that it would have been originally sold as a Pocket Watch as it is far too small, but another option is that it may have originally hung from a broach and converted to a wrist watch later..

Most likely it was originally a necklace/pendant watch

Yes you could be correct, it would be just about the right size to go on a chain around the neck. Thanks for that.
