Air King accuracy

I feel I have to share this info.,my Air King 6552,is almost 58 years old,it was serviced in July of this year and after carefully observing its timekeeping over a one month period I am amazed that if I wear the watch for 24 hours it loses less than 0.5 of a second over that time.
I bet there are few modern models able to keep to that accuracy,or am I wrong?

That is amazing. I wish I had the same experience with my 1968 Datejust 1601 that I also had serviced in July. It was gaining 1.5 minutes every 2.5 day so I took it back. They said the hair spring was twisted and fixed it however, it is still gaining too much time so, going back once again.

CHERS,
Kenny
