Thoughts on this 5513?

Hi all, currently very interested in this 5513 and would appreciate any thoughts or opinions y'all can share. Here's what I know so far from the seller.

From 1967 (unsure of serial number, awaiting reply on that one), original dial, hands, and insert (missing pearl), watch was serviced last year with a new crystal, crown, and gaskets, supposedly never polished (I think I could believe that, lugs look thick).

What do y'all think? Any red flags or other questions I should ask?

Edit: I should add that the watch comes with the head only, bracelet in the pictures is not portrayed as original.

Thanks all for the quick thoughts. Anything I should be concerned about? Or time to pull the trigger, assuming the price is right?

As others have stated, that is a nice example...if the price is right and funds allow for it, snag it

I was just informed that this is a 1.78 million serial, which from my knowledge of the 5513 seems to line up with the claim that this matte dial is original.

Yep, should have a '67 CB to match that serial. I'd be all over that if the price is right!

Like the watch roll! Seems like the 5513 was the Friday watch ;)

Looks very nice. If you want to go all out get a pearl and a rivet bracelet.

Appreciate all of the help guys. I talked with the seller last night and decided to jump on this. I'll hopefully have it mid-week and will post some pictures when it comes in. I absolutely can't wait.

The crown and case tube have been replaced/updated.

Period correct is a TWIN-LOCK (no dots under the logo).

Good luck.

Correct, but I’ve never passed on a watch because of the crown and tube being newer than the case. In this example, when screwed down, the crown will be slightly taller.

Check the dial hr plots under a UV light. Looks a bit funcky in your first pic. Otherwise nice piece.
