Help identifying Rolex model
Greetings there, I am trying to identify exactly what model this Rolex watch is and would greatly appreciate it if you could provide assistance. I went over the watch with a magnifying glass and was unable to find any model or serial number. I will list the markings I was able to observe.
On the back of the case "14k. Gold" On the inside of the back case "Rolex logo, 10/12/74 (Etched in), EBx87 (Etched in)" On the back of the movement "17 Seventeen Jewels, Swiss Montres Rolex S.A., Unadjusted" On the dial "Mastromattel" On the clasp "14k." Thanks in advance for any insights. 1.JPG 2.JPG 3.JPG 4.JPG 5.JPG |

There were a lot of these ladies cocktail style watches. They didnt always have a model number or serial number but instead had names for the design. These names are sometimes hard to find unless you have an original sales catalog. They just get classified as "ladies cocktail watch". There is more value in the raw gold then there is in the watch itself. I would say, based off of the design that yours is from the late 40s to early 50s possibly.

Many thanks for the feedback. I spoke with the original owner and they said they purchased it back in the 70's.
