I think he provided the details on Presidential movements, protocols, procedures. It's quite specific and presumably very realistic. But Patterson is really the current master of the genre.

I have really gotten into time travel books.

One of my favorite books has been A Gift of Time by Jerry Merritt, and I just read the First Fifteen Lives of Harry August by Claire North. Very good books.
