Oyster perpetual transitional 50/60s

Hi Everybody!! Just registered on the forum and would like to ask you what you think about this oyster date that I just got as a present.
It actually says Officially registered chronometer and not superlative etc etc...
What you think? Would you know what ref would be?

Thanks!!!
Riccardo

Take the bracelet off and you'll see model and ref number. Post first 3 digits of the ref number and the full model number.

The watch is nice, but way way over polished.

OCC was used before SCOC - micro stella adjustment - though other's know better.

Crystal is aftermarket.

Need BY FAR a better picture of the dial to discuss the orginality

Model is 1501
First 3 digits of ref n. are 131

Still I can't find any of those with only OCC. Where can I find which year it is?

Do you think it can go back to its unpolished look?

What you mean aftermarket? Not original?

I'll try and take some more pics soon!

Thanks!

I just went into a certified ROLEX dealer that certified the originality.

Basically what I’m not sure is when exactly it could have been produced? Model 1501 is not popular with the OCC only. Could this be quite rare? HIgh value maybe?

Thanks.

R.

serial dates to 1965. I think that's way too late for OCC. Whoever serviced the watch last time was not very meticulous - bezel is crooked. Not sure I like the crystal. As I mentioned, need better quality photos of the dial to discuss if it's original or not - but based on the date, it does not sound very promising.
