This....

Why would someone have kept this around? Any chance the dial and crystal are just aftermarket or did this thing never even exist?

Yea I'm assuming it's fake. Just about positive. This came from an estate of a wealthy lady and found in a bag of gold. Just seems odd for it to be where it was, that's all.
