That seller has no previous feedback as a seller, only as a buyer. And if you check her feedback she left for others as a buyer, you can see she complained about receiving knock-offs from others. Until I guess she decided she wanted in on the action, perhaps by selling the fake crap she had purchased on other unsuspecting people.

Hey I am back haha...I did see it on Ebay and I started asking the seller a ton of questions and asked for paper verification as well as the pictures of the serial number...I guess it was a fake...

Oh and this was no test...I was just checking over ebay...saw it and decided I needed some help from others better than I...I had even questioned the seller why the two watches she was selling were located in different locations...

Want a Rolex, at a good price, stay off EBay, Craigslist, etc etc. Use one of the top five sellers here on TRF and you'll have no worries.

You can find them in the "Who's who" section.

Yeah I agree, I am new to TRF and rolexes in general. I have been doing a ton of research the past couple months as I have decided to get into the market...Ebay is an old bad habit of mine, OK for some watches, but something like this I am learning I have to stay with way more credible sources...I appreciate everyone's ability to recognize what i was thinking this morning haha.

Ebay is crap.

It's one thing to buy a knockoff Apple charger and lose $5. It's another to lose $5,000 on a fake Rolex.

I only use Ebay for small stuff, and rarely anymore.

Not true and unfair
At least you are protected with eBay
AND they act very swiftly if persons report an item, as has been proven on TRF about 9+9% of the time

Usually on Ebay if you use them and pay through paypal with fees, especially if you use a credit card you are covered very well if anything with the transaction was to go south, or if you receive the item and it is indeed fake when represented as authentic.

Hi Adam

Seems like you are very knowledgeable about watches. May I ask if you are in jewelry/watch business or just years of learning/experience from collecting watches as a hobby?

There are others on TRF more knowledgeable than me.

I teach about counterfeit watches.
I am a guest curator at the National Watch and Clock Museum in USA
Google - Luxury or Lie?
