Figured that, which is what I told him directly, same deal for the new ceramic Daytona, it's all BS to drive demand

I have recently seen a couple sitting in AD display cases so I don't think they are allocation. I saw one yesterday.

Sounds like a sales tactic to me. They are very easy to come by.

Agree with the others, I seem to see a Bluesy in almost every AD around me.

It's not the ADs, it is Rolex who is controlling or allocating pieces to ADs.

This is better explained. Exactly the way my AD put it back in May.

Dealer sales tactic. These are pretty common however recently they are seeing higher sales due to SS availability issues that people are having.

Seems to be the case in Asia where SS sport pieces have been choked back.

My AD didn't say they were hard to find she just said that going forward the watch is on allocation only.. I already had the piece so was no need to try and sell me on it

not tough to find but in my city all dealers were out of the bluesy and would be a short 2 month wait, they are getting more popular the last 2 years

Yep same experience for me, was wearing my Bluesy and the AD said they are extremely popular now and tougher to get as Rolex was allocating.

Why did you AD say that?

No idea although we can take a good guess.

I'm glad you said this, Steve. Until recently I thought it was just the UK that was starved of SS sports Rolex. Here in Singapore, Mrs Van D had to wait four months for my Sub LN when this time last year I'd have been amazed if she'd waited 48 hours. They're becoming increasingly difficult to find here too.
