5130p vs. 5146p

These two references have gotten some nice attention recently. If you were to pick one of the two in platinum, which would you choose?

Thanks in advance.

Of those two, 5146p for me. I'd go world time if you were thinking 5110p

Both are very nice watches. As you know the 5130P was just discontinued. The 5146P has been around 10 years and still in production. it comes down to if you prefer a World Time or an Annual Calendar, but a platinum Patek is also nice!

I am a big fan of the 5146 reference in any metal and dial combo!

(not my watch... Trying one on at a SH dealer)

Thanks everyone. I already have a PC and a PCC, so the WT seems like a more logical addition, but I do like both. I'm also a bigger fan of blue, so that also is influencing my decision.

5130. They are both great choices. The WT is very useful if you need that kind of time zone tracking. The AC is a great every day complication but the 5146 dial layout doesn't work for me

Personally, I have no need for a World Time complication.
So my decision is easy the 5146P.
But with your current, I can see why you would choose the 5130P.
Lovely dilemma to be in 😊

Looking at the PPs you already own IŽd skip both references.

If I had to buy one IŽd go for the 5146P.

Based on looks alone I'd choose the WT, although the AC is by far the more practical. (Funny, using the word 'practical' to refer to a Patek)

That said, based on your current collection the AC does seem redundant, so there's really no contest here.

Personal preference of course, but I agree with you that the 5110 seems like the better aesthetic choice with respect to the WT's.

No contest considering your collection. Forget the 5110 and its stubby little hands although has string following. Wears small for me.

Woo! You're killing it this year!

For this, I'd go with the WT. Also, I'm not a fan of that AC reference.

WT for me it looks gorgeous that one.. With a annual calendar PP I would never be happy as I would always crave a Perpetual calendar Patek.
