Friday Night Nov. 18 2022 • What's the plan?

Heck, with night finally here, I'm taking a hot steamy shower. Hope to clear enough deep phlem out to get some rest. Audio book and clean sheets.

Bar scene, that's for the young folk.

Buddy is playing a solo set 45 minutes away I'LL MISS IT
Gal friend wants me to drop into a local tap room for a burger I'LL MISS IT

Tomorrow and Sunday, art festivals. Going to two, high noon each

Staying in tonight. Spent the day playing in the now with my son. He's finally off to bed so we can watch some Yellowstone and fall asleep.

Jim, you sound a bit unwell with the lungs. Enjoy the art festivals; hopefully those who suffered for their work don’t make anyone else suffer, and it’s all good and interesting stuff.

Friday night’s already gone, here. Too dull for words!

Relaxed on the couch, did some word puzzles.
I've been sober for 2+ years now, enjoying the feeling of going to bed and waking up fresh and rested knowing I won't have a hangover.

Thanks! A non-productive cough. Fine now. I’ll remove more scrap from the hobby area. It may be allergy related. Or seasonal autumnal molds? Doc says lungs clear - go figure. Another glass of water is the best remedy, he says.

I swam M W TH F and do fine. 45m+ is usual. It may be a late onset asthma thing. Hope not!

Great effort, congratulations. I am about to drive to a wedding (i.e. not drinking). I need to be fresh in the morning as there is a lot of study to do tomorrow. Have a good night and enjoy that clear-headed Saturday morning.

Glad you’re fine now. Hope it stays that way and you work out whatever it is. You exercise a lot, so are really fit, but I wonder if the lungs would benefit from a little break from being worked hard? (I’m not a doctor btw!)

We went to one of our favorite spots and brought a bottle of Dom to share with the owner and bartender.

Hit the driving range with some buddies, then the 19th hole then dinner.

Today it was too windy to golf (2nd time we cancelled due to winds this week)

Swimming like I do is like comparing golf to hard-core one-on-one basketball. I'm more of a modified dog paddle guy in goggles. But it has flattened the tum and chest.

Acute bronchitis is the diagnosis. Fluids, rest, and a great excuse to avoid excessive family requests.

MrGoat, that looks great. I may have to do some grilling tomorrow.
