Truly nothing. I'm surprised how lame this release was (although maybe I shouldn't have been).
Even Tudor was not all that special and I can usually count on them to outdo Rolex. |

I appreciate that they updated the style of roman numerals on the DD36 (to match the DD40). I'd be happy to add one to my collection in the near future

The platinum 1908 is nice, but I think I still prefer the YG black dial.

None of them, the 1908 is the best of an uninspiring bunch… even Tudor haven’t bothered to do anything particularly clever or interesting, their new GMT is nice… but safe and same old same…. I’m sure some will be happy, but I doubt I’ll be getting my wallet out any time soon

There doesn't seem to be a lot of love for the new releases so.
The diamond Daytona is probably the most useless/ugly watch I have ever seen.

I'd buy the Deep Sea in gold, once the aftermarket drops the price to below gold Submariner levels. (I say this since the aftermarket prices for 126660 watches are at or below similar condition 126610 LN watches today.)

Nothing in this years offering from Rolex, Tudor, Patek, or Vacheron excites me. The only thing I’ve liked this morning is the no date titanium Grand Seiko dress watch, but even though I like it, I wouldn’t pay $10k for it.

I would consider it if the price were halved at least.

I’m a big fan of the new Ombre dials on the DD40. That green YG is phenomenal. Much better than the flat green.
