Hmmm? That doesn't look like Rolex Green!?!?!?

"Open Me" Ok.

Oh, very nice.

Is this box nicer than a Rolex box?

I used to love Scotch, but alas, it does not love me.

Drink it in good health.

If it needs more than a splash of water, it's not for me.
BTW these are all cask strength, about 56%, so they may need a bit of water to open up.

Looks like you are more than prepared for winter. Forgive my ignorance, but what do the numerials signify?

The Scotch Malt Whisky Society samples and buys individual casks of Scotch whisky and bottles it themselves for sale to members. They use a numbering system to label the offerings vs brand names. You can usually figure out where the scotch was distilled by the hints in their tasting notes, but they don't refer to the brand. They have unique one time offerings, normally at cask strength and introduce new bottlings every few weeks. While not cheap, I think they represent a good value. Membership is only about the cost of a bottle per year, and you are not obligated to buy anything. The down side is that, unlike most regular single malts, supplies are extremely limited. But that's part of the fun.

Very nice green box but I don't believe the contents will last as long as a Rolex. Enjoy. I'll have to look into this society. Is it open to anyone who enjoys fine single malts?

Yes. The first year is a little more $, consider it an initiation fee.
http://www.smws.com/ I'm assuming I can post the link. If edited out just google scotch malt whisky society.
You are going to have a SMWS extravaganza tasting in Atlanta this spring!
