Porsche and Rolex, two things that go great together!!!!!

I finally got to the point in my life that I could complete my childhood dream list!

Ever since the first time I saw a Rolex Submariner I fell in love and I wanted one.
Now I have a nice Rolex collection.
Ever since I saw my first 911 I fell in love and I wanted one.
Now I finally have one.

My goal was to get one for my 50th Birthday but I got it one year earlier!
Thanks to a very understanding wife!!!!

I have seen so many nice cars owned by TRF'ers!
There is a wide variety of transportation methods by all the members.

Please remember this is just my opinion and no way reflects how I feel about other vehicles.

But for me the Rolex/Porsche is the ideal combination!

Just wondering how many agree and please attach your Rolex/Porsche 911 pics.

Porsche Design watches are not too bad.

Congrats on the 911! I drove one before and it handles like a dream. Just make sure to be careful on the road. Those things are designed for sporty handling and not safety. So many celebrities are no longer with us because of accidents in Porsches...

Probably not happening since he doesn't want his paint scratched/Rolex dropped on the floor

I've had many cars since I got my first Rolex. All of them got me from point A to B in decent comfort and safety. Beyond that, cars hold no fascination with me whatsoever.

This has to be a joke of some sort, Porsche vehicles have a SLEW of safety features. To say that they are not designed for safety is pure ignorance and unawareness of the car brand as a whole. I'd completely rest easy knowing people in my family are 100% safe behind the wheel of any of their models. Now the Carrera GT, that's an entirely different car, missing these polished safety features we have now.

The 4S with PDK has more safety features than my Honda Pilot. LOL
Best 2 door sports car Daily Driver IMO!

Awesome car! My buddy has a 4S in black also. 991s are fantastic! Here's separate shots of my car and watch -- sorry none together.

Thanks Chiboy,
Stunning watch, probably the only watch I don't have and would LOVE to add but currently way out of my budget!

Exactly! People are amazed by how great these cars are once they start asking questions, despite thinking they're just "a rich man's bug" (I hate people...).

Puttering around with the spoiler up is a no-no in Porscheland.

Just don't turn everything off. Made that mistake at the drag strip one cold night and it cost me a 2015 911 Turbo S.

These are both goals of mine too! Rolex boxes checked. 911 not yet. I almost bought a 2001-2005 911 turbo (yes the ones with the awful headlights) but never found the right one and then attention went in a different direction. At this point I'm thinking when my youngest (11) graduates college

You somehow managed to overlook another key part of the equation.

Paging Dr. Tom!!! :)

Can't find any good photos of my watches, but here are a couple of my 991.2 I took delivery of a couple months ago. Long-time Porsche fanatic and I am really enjoying this iteration of the 911. Despite all the furor over the new turbo'd engines, I am LOVING it. Had a 991.1 Carrera 2, and now have the 991.2 Carrera 4 and I love the wider body and the new turbo 3.0L base engine. The immense torque down low and ability to still rev the engine out like the older NA flat-6 makes the car much more fun to drive. More than enough power for me in the base engine here in Hawaii.

Cheers and enjoy the 911

The good stuff. Here's what a rwd 991 looks like when you drive it to the slopes in a snow storm

Simple snow tires is all it needed

Gratuitous Patek shot

Sometimes they break

jk that's for a flat

I agree, Porsche & Rolex are a great pair. I've had a couple 911's. Hopefully get one more in the future.
