You want to share your collection? I’ll maybe get together some snaps of a few of mine!

I've been playing since I was 17, been in my current band for 14 years. Also last year played with a country artist named Shane Gamble!

This is last year, at 9:30 Club in DC; using my Crook into my Majesty, Shane was using my Comet: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dMwdDVC76bE

I have had to slow the train down a bit due to family obligations these past few months, but I still love to play.

In case anybody else is a gear head, I have the following:
- Tone King Comet 40B + matching 2x12 cab (selling to Shane tomorrow, I'm sad, but I need the space at home)
- Tone King Majesty proto that my friend Mark Bartel made for me as a thank you; it's all PTP wired, and he put in a Two Rock labeled custom magnet WGS speaker
- PRS Custom 24
- Crook Custom T-Style (my #1 axe)
- a plethora of various pedals! (Source Audio Nemesis, some Keeley pedals, ARC Klone, Menatone, Fulltone, etc...)

Stuff that I never use:
- PRS Mayer/JMod proto (Paul modded an old Texaplex circuit)
- Fender PS400 (boat anchor, doesn't work)
- 62 Reissue Strat in Daphne Blue (snapped truss rod, needs new neck)
- 74 Fender Bandmaster with matching 2x12 (at my dad's)
- 74 Marshall Super Lead (WAY too loud!)

I’ve been playing drums for (holy crap) 44 YEARS!!!

But I used to make electric solid and semi-hollow body guitars. Pre-internet (or just at the beginning) in the 90’s.

Does that count?

Ugh yes. My guitar gear addiction is seemingly unquenchable. Traditionally a Fender guy (currently have a Strat and a few Teles) but also have a couple of Gibsons (LP, SG, Hummingbird, Firebird) and a few PRS as well (594 with P90s, DGT, Special Edition semi hollow). Just got a Collings dread and have a few nice classicals. Various amps from Fender (Deluxe Reverb and Blues Jr) and a Carol Ann 18 watt blues breaker clone. It changes every now and then. Talk about rabbit holes!

Oh boy. That’s a nice collection you got going on. I’ve got a Strat and a Tele and a few more also! I must get some pics up.

Do you have any pictures of any of yours? How about that Collings Dread?

Oh yeah - tons of pics... ;-)

I'll post a few here but let me know if you have any specific requests. I've gone a bit overboard on guitars lately so some of these will probably move out early next year to support the watch habit.. .haha.

PRS Private Stock 594

PRS Special Edition Semi Hollow

PRS DGT:

Gibby LP '59 Reissue

Hummingbird:

'99 American Std Strat with tons of mods:

And here's the Collings but it actually doesn't reflect the colors very well. It's nowhere near this red. It's actually more of a tobacco burst.

Thanks! The Collings is a D2HG - the G is for German Spruce top. It's a nice guitar. Generally I prefer mahogany acoustics but this is a good guitar. Have you played any Bourgeois guitars? They make a bunch of nice OMs. I had a Bourgeois slope shoulder dread that is one of the few guitars I regret selling

I haven’t played any Bourgeois. I have a Lowden, which I love! It’s a Sitka/Figured Mahogany. I’ve always liked the idea of a Collings OM2H. I think, apart from being tonally beautiful, they are asthetically beautiful also!

How do you like the Chapman ML3?

I've been looking at the ML3, the version with 2 humbuckers.

I’m really a keyboard player who doubles on guitar, but have been playing both much longer than I care to admit.

I have the traditional so I can’t comment on the pickups. I love it! It’s loud acoustically and mine is setup with 10s and a fairly high action. I mostly noodle on it and play bad jazz.

I had a bit of a collection back in the day, but overtime sold them off and kept a single guitar. These days I don't have much time to play. I was mainly into ESP guitars which were made in Japan. As you can see from the picture, I was really into flying V's . I did have one american made guitar, a Gibson silverburst.
