Congratulations to the Toronto Raptors!

What a series that was! The Golden State Warriors are an incredible team and I hope both Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson have speedy recoveries.

The Raptors are now the 2019 NBA Champions Things are absolutely crazy in the city right now and the economic impact of being in the finals was massive. This is the first title in franchise history and of course a first north of the border! Well played, Toronto!

I’m kinda sad right now. :(

But congrats nonetheless, great team.

Yippie!!!!

Made it back from downtown....loud car horns, waving flags, car only hit by a couple of water bottles....Danforth on the way home, crazy, what a game.

Golden State Warriors, what a great team, game could've gone either way tonight.

Great entertainment from two great teams!!!

Haven't seen a celebration like this since Toronto won the World Series the first time.

Raptors!!!!!

Nice to see someone new hoist the trophy

Can only imagine how crazy that city will go when the Leafs win it all.

Happy for the Raptors, but bummed Klay tore his ACL. Wish him a speedy recovery.

Injuries during the series did hamper GS, but that’s the game and perhaps the Raptors overcame their own challenges in the meantime.

It was a great series for NBA fans and congrats to the new Champs.

Crazy that we just had two teams win their first championship two days in a row. Other weird thing is that the Blues are predominantly Canadian born and Raptors primarily American. Now I guess considering the Canadian love for hockey and American love for basketball it isn’t too surprising. Cool nonetheless

As a New Yorker who repped the Raptors as a kid because I loved dinosaurs, this championship was so much sweeter and more emotional for me than when the Yankees won their World Series titles. CONGRATS TO THE RAPTORS AND TO TORONTO!! WE THE NORTH!!

You’re not kidding ... my friends tease me because the Leafs stopped winning cups the year I was born

Congrats to the Raptors, who have won arguably as difficult a trophy to win, as the Stanley Cup

Was an exciting series. Congrats to Toronto. I’m a Kawhi fan and glad to see him win it again.

Congratulations Raptors!!! Downtown Calgary was in a frenzy last night after the game. Cars were honking for hours, people running up to random cars and restaurant patios to dish high fives, flags waving, everyone dressed a Raptors jersey. They've always been called Canada's team but I've never seen it take form like it did last night.

It crushed me to see Klay and KD out like that. Such freak injuries. The league is a better place with them in it and I hope they both make a speedy recovery.

I cant congratulate Kawhi. He acted like a child with the spurs. And he missed free throws against the heat in 2013 when we had the game won.

Great player nevertheless.

I’m spending time way out in the sticks in Ontario and even the small town that still out in the sticks had Raptor flags flying.

Yep, this....he is an absolute jackass. Bet he leaves in free agency this summer, too, but he will get a pass from Raptor fans since they won....but he was never staying. Amazing basketball player, though......like top 5 player in the league. Gained a lot of respect from me for that.

If the Warriors were healthy, they probably sweep the Raptors but thems the breaks.

Cool win for the country, though....

Absolutely thrilled to see the Raptors win.

This is a hard working team and nobody on it got drafted higher than 15. Kawhi was the key to our success in the playoffs... but he was not the only reason for win. Without the contributions of Kyle, Pascal, Mark, Serge and Freddie we would be on the outside looking in. Happy for them, for Toronto and for all of Canada.

As for Kawhi, he did everything a rental could do and it was so worth the trade.

If he stays with Toronto (which we all hope) that would be the icing on the cake.

If he goes, he goes with our best wishes.

Parade is on Monday. Go Raps!

I believe his greatest contribution was trash talking Green and others courtside.

By being the 6 god courtside and annoying all the coaches, players and fans with seats behind him.

In all seriousness I guess toronto courtside seats were going for 60k which was supposedly higher than normal because people wanted to sit by drake lol

Love the weeknd. Saw him live in toronto a few years back and he brought drake out for a song. We were not sure where to sit and had seats about halfway down the runway stage and turns out he stayed right in front of us the whole time. It was an incredible show. He is crazy talented.
