My NAWCC news tells me that four limited edition co-axial Omega Speedmaster Professionals, each the last in their production run celebrating the 50th anniversary of this chronograph, sold for mega buck at a charity auction in Berlin on 7/11/07.

There was one white gold, one pink gold, one yellow gold, and one stainless steel watche in a production run of only 57. All four watches were the last of the run, i.e. 57/57. The white gold one went for $63,000; the pink gold and yellow gold ones went for $48,00 each, and the SS one went for $21,000.

All proceeds went to charities for children.

Lovely watches; worthy charities; cool auction idea!

Omega broad arrow was sold at antiquorum for 90 000 dollar I believe in the mania one, several world records were broken.

the winner received a fantastic watch, and made an impact on somebody's life. what a great combo!

To me... no other watch brands are better than Omega and Rolex. They are both bullet proof and mechanical wonders that will last you a life time.
