Palm Motif Dial

My local AD finally received a selection of exhibition watches including the new motif Datejust36 in steel/rose. What's everyone thought on this dial? Is this dial inspired by a specific era of the design?

Looks like weed.
Not for me at all.

Personally love it. It’s a beautiful dial. Granted I love palm trees and the shade of green generally speaking.

hahaha. When I first saw the pic online I didn't think that was the one for me until I tried it on in person. I wanted to see the one in yellow gold before making the decision, the green one is most definitely not for me.

I was able to see one in person and I think it is very unique - I do not recall a similar dial configuration in Rolex’s history. I liked the idea but not for me.

I saw the white one in the classifieds, in a heartbeat I would pick one up if it was a 41.

Obviously it will be a hot seller because it’s different. Not a fan of it overall and honestly won’t buy below 40mm but I’m sure whoever wears 36mm has at least looked at this as a potential add to a collection.

I love it, picked up the ss green one last month and the dial is probably my favorite of the non-stone dial modern rolexes

Do you have any pics that you can share? I would love to see one in person if my AD ever gets any. They haven't received any all year. I personally am liking the stainless with the green dial, Oyster bracelet, and smooth bezel.

I think Rolex should make an actual "weed dial" and sell it only in places where weed is legal. Another limited run, money maker for the greys!

I think the dial is actually unique and somewhat pretty, and must admit I am amused by the weed association. Not saying I enjoy from time to time or anything

I love the Rolesor rose gold and steel with fluted jubilee and cream palm motif dial. Tried a display piece on at my Ad Yesterday and It looks great. It's certainly got under my skin.
