Which combo to choose?

Hi all,

I have a thought in getting a Royal Oak three handers and a Sky-Dweller as I liked both a lot.

I have these two combos in mind as I would like to get one in RG and one SS:
Combo 1 - 15510OR RG blue dial bracelet + 2023 SS Sky-Dweller mint green dial
Combo 2 - 15510ST SS blue dial + 2023 Everose gold Sky-Dweller blue dial

Both combo will cost almost identical in both retail price or grey market reseller price in my country.

What would be your choice/thoughts?

#2 because I don’t really like green on most watches.

I would probably go for #2. That said, personally, I would prefer a 15510 and a 26240 over SkyD but both of those choices you’ve outlined are awesome. Good luck with your search.

If you have a Royal Oak, no need for the sky dweller.

Combo 1 from these options. The RG case and bracelet as well as RG indices really enhance the blue dial. Rolex mint green is very subtle.

I’ve a blue 15510 and a blue skydweller (steel not rose gold though) and I love them both, so I’d go 2.

My vote is for #2, as I prefer blue dials over green.

I vote #1. RG RO is exquisite and I really like that mint green dial on the SkyD.

Agreed, but on a blue strap? The blue on blue is just too much blue IMO.
If it was a full gold OR then I’d agree it’s an amazing watch.

All depends on your collection but not a BIG fan of Sky-D after owning blue dial mainly due to thickness/BIG on my 6.75" wrist. Otherwise you can't go wrong with RO stainless or RG (prefer)

Are we talking about the blue/green Skydweller? Has anyone seen one in real flesh? I saw some internet photos, and it seems the new dial is much closer to the regular blue than the official photos.

Combo 1 would be my choice.

AP RG with full bracelet is one of the most gorgeous timepiece.

I would argue the other way around… SkyDweller is all one needs… I would go for Patek over AP or another independent as a second watch choice
