I have handled both and chose the hulk, it was an easy decision

Had both for some time, the Hulk is very impressive but after a couple of months I got bored and it didn’t impress me anymore.. the Kermit is amazing and I love it, it’s the one watch that I really enjoyed during the last couple years.. good luck!!

As always, buy the seller.
In my opinion the Kermit is a pretty special piece for those that appreciate Rolex. It is a very nice transition between 5 and 6 digit subs.
I personally don’t like the color of the bezel of the Hulk. The dial is very cool but the green on green does not look good to me. I remember seeing these in the window and my SA and I would comment that Rolex missed the mark on this one. Now we are laughing at how we were the ones that missed the mark and should have bought 10 of these.
OP looking forward to seeing photos!

Ultimately, I went with the Kermit as a hybrid between the 5 and 6-digit with its maxi dial. It also felt special being an anniversary edition, albeit not the actual 50th Anniversary year model (Y-Serial with Fat Four) that came out in 2003. I also liked the touch of green that gives the Kermit a bit of an understated appearance relative to the Hulk.

Very good choice!!
Can’t wait to see the pics. Also would recommend joining

The correct 'forum answer' is to get both, however the battle between a small singing frog and awesome superhero is a foregone conclusion - Hulk it is

Thanks, I did join the 16610LV club on your recommendation! Did an incoming thread, as well. Thought I’d repost pics here to close out the thread

I have both. I like the look and color of the Kermit, but the ceramic bezel, glide lock, and sturdiness of the Hulk.

Kermit, unique and classic rolex flare and Versatile. Hulk green is way too much and extremely overrated. Doesn't go well with wardrobe except on st. Patrick's day. A One trick pony! Kermit>Hulk

Kermit for me.
I think it’s the perfect combo, a maxi-dial in the 5-digit case and with the anniversary colored bezel

I don’t think there is really a wrong answer here but I think most old timers here know my preference. The 16610 LV. The Kermit.

Why? Just like the old school vibe to the 5 digits. Though the Hulk of course has a better and stronger bracelet and clasp I kinda like the more vintage feel of the older one.

I own two. An M I wear and a NOS V. Did own a Z but sold it.

We don't discuss aesthetic preferences. So in terms of ulitized materials, the 116610 Hulk is really a cut above, without hesitation.

Without causing ceramic, platinum, gold, just the thickness of the steel of the bracelet, we feel the progress in terms of manufacturing and robustness...

You only really need one reason to choose one watch over the other.

Green sunburst dial.

I challenge you to observe one and disagree!

+1 on this. I was torn between the Kermit and the Hulk when I was looking to buy. After trying on both and seeing it in person, I fell in love with the Hulk.

I like the Kermit for that slight touch of green.

The hulk green is a bit too much for me.

My thoughts exactly. Would have preferred the hulk but just for the green.

Although both very nice, I prefer the Hulk. The Kermit is a special edition, but the Hulk is more its “own” watch as it is part of Rolex’s “available” collection.

I prefer the Hulk. The green is more brilliant and I prefer the six digit case to the five digit. I did not like the Kermit when the AD's had them at a discount and I would not pay anything close to what they want now for one.
