I am in Troy, MI right now for work through the end of the week. I called a local AD on Tuesday to see if they were taking deposits on the BLRO. Was told that's not how they operate and they have a full list of existing customers BUT that they had an unclaimed LN model coming in the following day. Got a call the next day (yesterday) that they had both an LN and YG TT (CHNR would have been very tempting) in stock now.

Got a call last week from my AD, they just received a 116710LN and wanted to know if I was interested. I passed.

His account does confirm something we've unofficially known for some time, which is that Rolex leaves discontinued models on their website for a period of time. Especially in the weeks and months leading up to Basel, it's practically guaranteed that any discontinuations will not be reflected on the website, so as not to give clues to the Basel releases. In other words, the fact that the GMT LN and BLNR are still on there is not an indication they have not been discontinued. I don't doubt the LN will at some point be reissued with a new movement, as it's hard to imagine a non-solid GMT option in SS. However, I wouldn't be surprised if the green accents were replaced with a different color, perhaps red. |

Its still on Rolex website, when you get to the selection, hit configure, and the LN and BLRO show up. iatacs19 streamlined it and made it easy for you to see. Rolex speculation is just that, no one knows. Rolex is tighter lipped than the Pentagon.

I’m no expert, but highly likely all gmt will have the new movement (the one in the current BLRO). There is no reason at all that the entire line will not have this. Rolex has no precedent for keeping the movements separate. Now the question will be of larger changes such as lugs, bezel colors, etc.

Checked in with my local AD yesterday who stated that they have not received any formal notification that the LN and BLNR will be discontinued. Updated with new movement perhaps but, no knowledge otherwise. Guess we'll see what Basel, hopefully, brings us in that regard.

Think this needs to be clarified.
Official Rolex.com website has the LN and BLNR showing up. However, if you go onto an ADs website (like this one for example) and click through their Rolex catalog, they’re not available: https://www.montecristo1978.com/rolex/ Once you click on GMT Master II, the LN and BLNR are no longer there. Just thought I’d help clarify. I still think that at the end of the day, none of us know. |

Neither the LN or BLNR are listed on the Watches of Switzerland Australia website any longer FWIW.

My AD has informed me they can no longer place orders for “any SS sport models” as of last weekz My assumption is they will cease to exist in their current form, but maybe this means they will continue on as they are, the only change being the new movement. Part of me wonders if AD’s will be flooded with SS models once the new movement has officially been announced, since I would assume Rolex has been producing them for quite some time
now, and ceased production of SS models with the old movement (hence the shortage). This is why I am holding off on paying the grey market premium for my grail, the Hulk |

Clearly given that your AD received one this week, Rolex is still shipping them out. Excellent! Thanks.

Since the LN is now officially discontinued, resurrecting this thread to see if Rolex is still shipping any remaining inventory. Or is the well dry. If you get one fresh from an AD, let us know.

I cant remember which model but I remember they send out stock all the way up until June or July, so the GMT LN is still going to be in circulation. They dont cut off per se just after the Basel.

An AD I stopped at last Friday had one sitting in the case that they had just received the day before.

They’ll probably have a few more trickling in over the next month or so until they deplete all remaining inventory. The problem is it’ll be harder to get those pieces now moreso than ever before.

I was supposedly next for a GMT LN at my AD, but stopped in today and they have no idea if any more are coming in...
Fortunately I still have my 16710LN which I've now had for 20 years. |

Stopped by a nearby AD yesterday while wearing my LN and mentioned that it was discontinued. He didn't know what I was talking about and said they'd just sold one this week. He didn't seem like he was the most plugged in.
