I got my name on my AD list, supposedly early 2018 they stated for the blue dial 5711. But they said within two months they should be getting a white dial 5711. I feel like no one really want the white dial version, should I be asking for a discount if I decide to get the white dial 5711?

Nothing wrong with white. You should ask for price consideration, worst they can say is nah.

But I feel like the white dial is nah to begin with. Which is why it appears to be readily available.

I've owned both. White really stands out. The blue clearly wins the popular vote. Have to balance the wait and how much you'd yearn for the blue if you went white.

White dial irl is nice and crisp, but like with the AP ROs the other colours are more popular so I would try to get a discount as resale is weaker than the blue.
