1973 Oyster Perpetual Date - Dial Question

Good day. I have the opportunity to add this Oyster Perpetual Date to my collection. The serial number 355xxxx, so that puts it as a '73. In researching it a bit, I've been unable to find any comps that had a black dial without second hashes and this one also seems to be missing the swiss made markings at the 6. I understand that many examples from this era have had dials changed over the years during service, so not too concerned about that as I'll be meeting at a dealer to authenticate it the movement.

My question is, is there a way to confirm whether this is or is not an original dial? Did any dials in this era like the minute hashes? Admittedly pictures aren't the best and I'll be getting eyes on it tomorrow. But in the meantime wanted to ask. Thanks for any information you may may have.

Cant zoom in close enough to verify.

What does it say at the bottom of the dial? SWISS, T SWISS T or SWISS MADE?

It is the correct style of dial for 73 but that is all I can conform at this point from the pictures provided

Your pictures are too small to say much. It is possible that if you are missing text, the dial was repainted at some point.

The owner says he cant see any writing at the 6, so no variants of the word swiss. Interesting, didnt think of a repaint. Is that a common thing? Just assumed the dial would be completely replaced.
