My New Old Rolex

So I'm having ZERO luck with my AD (yes, I'm talking about you Ben Bridge Seattle...I'm not a tech zillionaire so no Rolex for me!), but my local non-Rolex AD jeweler found this for me and I immediately snapped it up.

23 JULY 2021 Rolex_1.jpg

2007 Datejust Tuxedo Dial with a roulette date wheel and a 3135 movement. What cool looking and fun watch.

By the time my AD gets around to "giving me the call", I might just have all the Rolexes I want...my local guy just got a 2006 14060M in really nice shape that he's offering me at a really good price...I've been holding out for a 124060 from my AD...which I didn't think would be as difficult as it has been...

Very nice ... I've never seen one before. I have the 14060M two-liner and if you get one, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

It is the two liner and I can pick it up for about the same price as a 124060 (at retail + tax) so it is really tempting...If he still has it in a couple of weeks I will probably pull the trigger...

Bingo. If you get the 14060M you’re in a good place. A true classic and a very interesting unique piece. Both way nicer than the new models.

Very nice! I've got that one but with a round bezel instead of the fluted. You don't see it often at all! Enjoy it :D

What a great find. I’ve always loved this one but have never been fortunate enough to ever even see one in the flesh.
