I have a Rolex on a Rolex strap. I dropped it on a tile floor and it registered its irritation by ceasing to run. So, I need to get it serviced. If I send it to RSC, they will insist on replacing my strap, which is admittedly worn. I am not yet ready to do that and it will probably add $500 to the tab. Any suggestions?

They will suggest it be replaced but you can pick and choose which items for them to actually service.

You can also use an indie certified watchmaker...
