Swapping bezels between a 5513 / 1680

Hey guys.
So I am having trouble mounting the bezel ring fitted on my 1680 to my 5513.
I have 3 bezel rings, which all fit the 1680. But only the bezel ring that came with the 5513 will mount onto it.
I have tried without the spring as well just to make sure it isnt the spring that is the issue, with no luck still.

Anyone faced with a similar issue? How were you able to fix it?

Thanks in advance!!

Keep in mind the bezels and retaining rings wore together over time and may inhibit quick swapping.

I have a few that are like that.

I suppose this might seem like a stupid question, but are you certain the 2 that won't swap are genuine?

Should work - try pressing it against the edge of a table.

Why when you get a new bezel rolex typically replaces the retaining ring.

At one time I owned a 5513, 1680, 9401, 9411, 7016.

The 9411 and the 7016 bezels could be swapped (the 7016 was from 68, the 9411 was 73) but wouldn't fit on the 9401, 5513 or the 1680.

The 1680, 9401 and 5513 could be swapped amongst themselves but some weren't quite as tight as they should be and all 3 were too big for the 9411 and 7016.
