Looking for a Tudor 90s Chrono.

I'm in the hunt for a Tudor '90s chrono. One of the V7750 based models.

I have already been looking at 791x0 Big Blocks and the prices do vary wildly. I also explored the later 792x0s (only interested in early ones with Oyster bracelets and Rolex marks), and they are generally more affordable.

That said, I think I'm still leaning towards the BigBlocks. Even though some are dangerously entering 5-digit Rolex price territory, some are still more realistically priced...

I'm still in search mode, I have a couple in sight, but wanted to ask the more experienced owners of these beauties what should I keep in mind.
Anything I should make sure to avoid, etc.

Please enlighten me. Many thanks in advance.

Not much to add, sounds like you know what you want. Best of luck in your search.

They are rock solid watches. I prefer the big block. Look for trusted sellers in the for sale section. Good luck.

Hi Dan, I was hoping you would chime in...

I am normally a B&P person for my watches, but in this case full-sets tend to get outside of my comfort zone price-wise.

In this case I am prioritizing the condition over B&P, as I intend to wear the watch, not flip it.

Would you agree in this case or do you see B&P as specially important ?

I've never been one who thought B&P amounted to much, especially on a piece you plan to keep. B&P are nice when they complete a package you want to sell.

IMHO, you're smart to look for the best condition vs B&P. One piece of advice, with all the bezel/ dial options make sure to pick the exact example you want. Although they ain't making these anymore there are plenty out there.

Have you considered the earlier 94300s too? I've seen some nice examples for reasonable money
