Rolex 5513 Production Date Questions
Rolex Submariner ref. 5513 Meters First
Rolex 5513 with 1.9 mil serial number but the back case is stamped 5513 and dated IV.67 is it likely that the later production used a previous back case? have anyone encounter same situation |

Not sure what the issue is. That serial number is very easily 1967.
Consult this chart. It's quite good! https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=54362 |

thx
thx some references shows 1.9 mil reference to 1969 so I was little confused.
But I guess 1.9 could be 1967 also |

Rolex used whatever inventory they had on hand so yes it's common to see an older case back on a later production. But in your example, like others have said, the 1,9 mil SN would land in the 1967 production year. __________________ Instagram: @onthedial |

My 5513 was a 1.6 serial number with a 67 stamped case back.
