Is this a 5500 Rolex Air King Precision?

Greetings TRF,
Long time lurker, first time poster.

I took this piece on trade for some work and hope I can have some guidance to sort this piece out.
I get it in a few days, but the local dealer gave verbal confirmation that it is legit.
Still keeps time, tho I have not had a chance to measure how much +/- it is out just yet. It is filled gold with a gold dial. Hands show cracked lume. Bracelet is very used and has stretch. Plexi has some scratches, but nothing catastrophic for what was a daily worn watch for some time.
No service history, no box/paperwork.

I googled, and used the advance search here and was not able to completely confirm that I have what I suspect is an Air King Precision 5500.

If this piece (I will open it when it arrives) is a 1971, it will stay with me - if it’s any other year I will need guidance on how to list it, rather - what should be done with it before listing it.

It is my understanding that polishing, servicing and replacing the plexi might be better off done by it’s potential new owner, is this acurate?

I do not believe that this has been polished... the lugs look pretty sharp, please chime in if I am mistaken.
Edit - I just learned I need 9 more posts before I can insert the pic of the watch. Oops
Thanks TRF for the space.
Please be gentle on the newbie.

Still can’t post pics, not a fan of postwhoring to get there.
I have also learned that the gold filled version of the 5500 is less common.
More to come.....

Cheers

Well, it wasn’t a 1971
And it wasn’t a 5500 either, ended up being a 5520 in completely original condition.
Movement was solid, bracelet minimal stretch. Some scratches on the plexi and unpolished.
Very pleased with the trade.

Welp, turns out it wasn’t a 1971 model.
Nor was it a 5500

Was a 1974 5520 in really good shape.
